Each leader brings a wealth of expertise and a commitment to the company’s mission of producing premier sports events and fostering meaningful connections within the sports community.

Jason Nowak Promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Triple Crown Sports proudly announces the promotion of Jason Nowak to Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, marking a pivotal moment for the company’s operational and financial strategy. Nowak began his journey with TCS on December 1, 2010, initially in the baseball division as the West Coast Director. His dedication and commitment soon led him to the finance department, where he served as Controller before becoming CFO. Known for his versatility, Nowak has also contributed as the on-site coordinator at the Cancun Challenge tournament and supported various roles in the 4th of July fastpitch tournament, Volleyball NIT, and PickleCon.

“It’s an honor to step into this new role,” Nowak said. “I look forward to continuing to build on our legacy of innovation and excellence in sports event management. Triple Crown Sports is more than just a workplace; it’s a family that I’m proud to be part of. I’m excited to help lead our organization toward even greater success.”

“Jason’s journey began with a passion for running and producing events in our baseball division, where his dedication and attention to detail quickly stood out,” said Keri King, Chief Executive Officer at Triple Crown Sports. “He then transitioned into the finance department, mastering multiple roles and ultimately becoming our Chief Financial Officer—a position he will continue to hold along with the COO role. Jason’s unique blend of operational experience, financial acumen, and strategic foresight makes him an invaluable partner as we lead Triple Crown forward together.”

Stephanie Klaviter Appointed Chief Sales Officer

The leadership team at Triple Crown Sports strengthened its roster on Monday, Nov. 5, as Stephanie Klaviter accepted the position of Chief Sales Officer. Klaviter transitions from her role as Fastpitch Division Director, where she led with passion and dedication since joining TCS in 2000 after a successful pitching career at the University of Minnesota.

Klaviter’s career at Triple Crown is a testament to her hard work and devotion to the sports industry. She began in the Fastpitch Division in 2002, directed the Sparkler Tournament for 20 years, and has consistently been a positive force within TCS. “Triple Crown Sports has truly become a family to me over the last 24 years,” Klaviter shared. “I am deeply honored to continue my journey here and am thrilled for the growth opportunity this new role offers.”

We are thrilled to see her step into this new role and confident that her leadership will continue to elevate Triple Crown.”

Monte McDonald Promoted to Chief Analytics Officer

Triple Crown Sports is also excited to announce Monte McDonald’s promotion to Chief Analytics Officer. McDonald joined TCS in January 2020 as CTO to launch College Sports Evaluation (CSE), where he developed a digital platform for capturing, processing, and delivering player performance metrics and video from CSE events. Following the integration of CSE with Triple Crown in fall 2023, he became the Lab Director for the TC/CSE Performance Lab, managing equipment installation, protocol development, data processing, and the migration of data to Triple Crown’s infrastructure.

“I am honored to take on this role and continue to innovate and apply analytics to help Triple Crown Sports achieve its mission,” McDonald said. “Together, we are building a future grounded in insight and strategy.”

“Monte has been a visionary force behind our AI and analytics initiatives, laying the architecture for College Sports Evaluation with expertise and innovation,” King said. “As he leads this department, I have no doubt he will drive us toward becoming an AI-first organization, creating unprecedented value and paving the way for transformative growth.”
