Triple Crown Sports Partners with GoRout to Elevate Competition and Nationwide Tournament Experience

April 9, 2025

Triple Crown Sports is proud to announce a new partnership with GoRout, naming them the preferred coach-to-player communication system of our nationwide baseball and fastpitch tournament networks.

This collaboration will offer teams participating in Triple Crown tournaments exclusive discounted pricing on GoRout’s innovative, real-time communication technology. The system, GoRout Diamond, is designed to improve in-game strategy and pace of play while eliminating missed signs and sign stealing. GoRout’s visual communication solution is the simplest pitch and play calling system available, allowing coaches to build calls on their cell phone and send every sign with a single tap. Each of these offerings align with our continued mission to elevate the quality of experience for teams competing in our events.

“Our partnership with GoRout is a natural fit — we’re both committed to advancing the game by equipping coaches with tools that make a real impact,” said Krista Crawford, Director of Fastpitch at Triple Crown Sports. “GoRout’s technology brings game-changing efficiency and affordability to youth fastpitch, and we’re excited to help more teams access it.”

Key components of the partnership include GoRout Diamond being officially recognized in the Triple Crown Sports baseball and fastpitch rule books, where the following regulations regarding one-way communication are outlined.

  • Baseball Rule: one-way electronic communication devices are allowed to be used by every player in the field; both on defense and offense.
  • Fastpitch Rule: one-way electronic communication devices are allowed to be used by every player in the field on defense ONLY.

Used by more than 1,700 teams nationwide, GoRout Diamond has become a trusted name in both baseball and softball, from youth teams to Division-1 collegiate competition. Their app-based system is regularly updated with new features based on recommendations and insights from the coaches who use it. A system built by coaches for coaches is perfect for TCS, as we continuously aim to tailor an elite experience for teams playing in our events.

“We’re thrilled to work with Triple Crown Sports and introduce thousands of coaches and athletes to GoRout’s technology,” said Mike Rolih, GoRout CEO. “This partnership reflects our shared vision of empowering coaches with the tools they need to enhance communication, drive performance, and create an exceptional game-day experience.”

With more than 7,000 teams participating in Triple Crown baseball and softball events annually, this partnership ensures our coaches and teams are supported by the most innovative communication technology available in the game today.
