Family: My wife is Danielle; we have been married for 21 years. We have seven children – Christian (20), Noah (18), Gianna (16), Madelyn (14), Owen (12), Andrew (10), Felicity (6). My parents are Don and Norma Mohr. I have two siblings, older brother Jerry and younger sister Adrian.
Fun fact: Adrian worked for Triple Crown as a tournament coordinator and is now the head softball coach at Fort Hays State University.
College attended/graduated: Colorado State University/2019
Sports background (proudest moment and most humbling defeat): I played baseball from the age of 6 and through high school. The proudest moment was winning the league championship the year my father and grandfather coached my team. It was also the only year I played on the same team as my brother.
My most humbling defeat was also a little league baseball moment. I was on the all-star team when I was 12 and our team made it the state championship. We nearly went on to the regional level to compete nationally, however, we lost in a close decision to the state championship team.
Hobbies: My top hobbies and outside interests are primarily related to my family. Our children have varied interests in sports including volleyball, gymnastics and basketball.
In 2021 I began practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and earned my blue belt in 2024. In 2023 I participated in a 40-mile hike in the Flattops Wilderness near Yampa.
Favorite trip: My favorite trip was a family vacation to Florida. My wife and I took our kids to the beach and enjoyed a long break together.
How did you become associated with Triple Crown?: I have known of Triple Crown for quite a while. I played on adult softball teams and competed in some of Triple Crown’s tournaments. My sister also played softball and worked for Triple Crown as an event coordinator.
What intrigues you the most about Triple Crown?: Triple Crown represents a commitment to an active lifestyle. One of the most important things people can do is participate in activities that build relationships and pursue goals.
